Would additional Galaxy smartphone models get Ethereum support?

According to a local report, Samsung has plans to extend its blockchain and crypto support to its entire Galaxy smartphone range, according to a latest cryptocurrency news source. Chae Won-cheol, a senior managing director of the Product Strategy Team at Samsung Electronics’ Wireless Business Division stated that they would expand their service target countries after Canada, the United States, and Korea.

The Korea-based giant released its Galaxy S10, equipped with a cryptocurrency wallet, ‘the Samsung Blockchain Wallet’ to private and  public keys as well as specific coins. It was also revealed that there would be a private key storage for blockchain enabled mobile services.

Samsung’s bid to distinguish itself can set a precedent for other smartphone manufacturers as it is a market leader. With privacy and security being a pertinent area of concern, we may see a greater degree of emphasis on blockchain based technologies that scalable and fast.
